Mama's Big Sweet Boy!!
Here are a few pictures I took of Michael during an afternoon photo session in the living room today... I have to entertain myself somehow without spending money:) I can't believe he is 3 months! And, he slept through the night for the first time last night- 10:30 pm until 8:00 am! I was up at 1:00, 2:00, 4:30, 6:00 and then for good at 7:00- I had to check to make sure the boy was still breathing:) Yeah Michael...fingers crossed that this lasts!!!

12 Weeks Old Already!!!!
I can't believe Michael is already 12 weeks old! It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we came home from the hospital and he was up crying all night...now he is such a sweet boy and almost sleeping through the night:) I guess it is true when they say it gets better! Now, our little man has to start going to childcare in 1 week:( I am so sad to leave him, but I know he will be fine- its me that will be the mess!!!!
Last Sunday, February 8, Michael was Baptized at Christ the King. My brother Joe and his wife Susan are Michael's Godparents. He was such a good boy, until he decided he was STARVING, so we had to finish the ceremony with a bottle in his mouth:) We only had immediate family at the ceremony- didn't think that was an event everyone would like to take part of:) Geoff's parents flew in from Boston for the Baptism. It is always so great to see them! We wish we were closer to them! I miss them so much when they leave. They are headed to Hawaii right now- I'm so jealous- BUT- we will be there next year!!! I am so excited!! Michael will be 15 months old and so much fun on the beach...not so much on the plane ride over there;)

Pictures along the way
How did we end up here?
So, this is the first time to blog. I swore I would never get into this, but I could not fight the temptation. This is such a good way to stay in touch with people, considering it is hard to keep up with everyone now a days! So, in a nutshell, Geoff and I met on St. Patrick's Day 2005 at Sam's Boat in Addison. Long story short, I had a bit to drink, met Geoff due to matching hats and a friend named Kim, told Geoff my family was from Ireland, "Straight off the boat!", took his hat and told him he could have it back ONLY if he called me, and then I left! Two weeks later, Geoff calls me for a date, I of course hardly remember the night we met, went to dinner and was mortified when he asked what part of Ireland my parents were from! To top it off, when he asked about his hat, I eventually had to admit I gave it to a bartender in exchange for a drink...oops! Needless to say, our relationship grew and Geoff and I were married June 30, 2007! Our wedding day was so magical.. I wish I could do it again:) 10 months later, on Easter Sunday to be exact, we found out we were expecting and Michael Geoffrey Hatch was born November 19th, 2008! I feel so blessed to have an amazing husband and a beautiful baby boy! My life feels so complete right now, and this is only the beginning! That is where we are today, Michael is eleven weeks old and I have to go back to work in 4 weeks:( Luckily I love my job and there is childcare just downstairs! Until then, Michael and I will hang out and I will continue to be amazed by everything he does:) Our little man is growing up so fast!
