Hello 2012!

I think I forgot to post about the Adolphus Children's parade and girls Christmas party. Michael had a blast at the parade and did much better this year than last- also, I wasn't pregnant this year so it was easier to chase after him:)

Christmas party was at Tanya's house and we had so much fun, as always! I love Girls Christmas Party and I am so glad we have kept it up! The basis of it is so once a year we can all get together. This is usually the only time we ALL get together, unless of course someone gets married:)

January is halfway over and I feel like this year is already flying by! We had a great New Years Eve at home with the boys. Annie and Pop Pop came over for dinner- Geoff made an elaborate feast of lobster bisque, tenderloin, and creme brulee - yummy!!! We called it a night and rang in the New Year with some much needed rest. Unfortunately, James woke up with ear infection #5 and we ended up at Pediatric Afterhours, our home away from home lately:(

James was suppose to get tubes on Dec. 29th, however, the day after Christmas we ended up in the ER with our littlest man due to croup and strider- no fun! As a result, they rescheduled the tubes due to the lack of stability in breathing- the anesthesiologist called it off- understandably of course.
So, we had ear infection#5 and #6 before our little pumpkin was able to get his tubes. He is still having a hard time, but hopefully he is on his way to be pain free:)

Michael is getting so big, so fast! He loves his little brother and always wants to be on the floor with him, playing, holding his hand and often too much in his face for James' liking:)
Michael's new obsession is planes, the boy loves them! He knows the difference between a jet and a propeller and will be sure to stop and tell you all about a plane when he hears one overhead. Every Sunday Pop Pop picks him up to go get ice cream and then hang out at Addison Airport to watch the planes:) I love this! It is such a special time for both of them:)

We celebrated Geoff's 40th birthday on the 12th with Annie and Pop Pop and the boys. We picked up Outback and had a very yummy birthday cake, made by yours truly. Of course Geoff made his own chocolate buttercream icing- so good! I think Geoff was a little bummed that not much more was done for his birthday so that is why I am so glad we were able to pull off his Surprise Party on the 14th. It was so much fun and I am so glad everyone came out to celebrate!

Next up is James' birthday and you better believe I am already planning! I can't believe my Baby is already 9 months old! How is that possible????
